    The Pearl Girls create all of our jewelry and designs at our shop in Athens, GA. We also have a huge reknot and repair department. People all over the world ship us their pearls and beaded jewelry to reknot, repair or create into a new design. Along with our passion for pearls, we are passionate about creating jobs right here in our home base in Athens, GA. We provide many perks to our staff including childcare for our hardworking mothers!     Jimmy Carter visits Soleil! In our special series of where (and when!) to wear pearls, we think a visit with a former president is a perfect choice! Our special little Pearl Girl, Soleil, got all dressed up to see former president Jimmy Carter in Plains. A cute American dress and a Little Pearl Girls bracelet by The Pearl Girls. Soleil, you make us so proud!

     Soleil's grandmother, Karen, has been a devoted friend and fan of The Pearl Girls and she gave Soleil her pearl bracelet last Christmas. She even sent us a video of Soleil opening her present! We know that when you give pearls to a loved one this young, they are extremely special and meant for very special occasions (such as visits with Jimmy Carter!). We appreciate Karen sharing these special images and story with us. This is truly a great place to where your pearls, to a meeting with the former president (even if you are only 3 years old!). <3
