Do you know how to knot pearls or restring pearls? Since we launched our service to restring and reknot cultured pearls, we have been amazed at the beautiful pearls you Pearl Girls mail to us! *Thank you* You have some beautiful pearls and even more beautiful stories surrounding your precious gems but many of you deal with broken strands or poor clasps. And once we mail these pearls back to you, we are pleased as punch because we know you will be thrilled to wear your pearls again. And when you ask us to reinvent a piece for you, we love thinking of your loved one carrying on the tradition of your beautiful pearls!!
So, how to knot pearls or restring pearls. If any of you do not want to take advantage of our reknot service, we encourage you to restring the pearls yourself!
We offer classes on how to knot and string pearls, both at our home base in Athens, GA and via a distance education class! You can watch our YouTube video on knotting pearls too. It is not as in-depth as our distance ed class however it will give you a great overview and let you know if this is a do it yourself craft you want to pursue!
