As you probably know by now, Bruce has become our dear friend and an important part of our All-American pearl jewelry collection. India peppers him with tons of questions about pearl diving and Bruce is easily amused by her enthusiasm. In the midst of all of his fascinating tales, we were wondering what is Bruce's story about pearl diving? How did he become a pearl and mussel diver? His origin story is fascinating. Bruce started with his father and brother when he was 7-8 years old by toe digging along the shore. As he grew, so did his involvement until he was a buying agent for the Tennessee Shell business.
